this place is awesome! We went for an extended weekend up through Canada stayed multiple nights at different places and this was by far the best room. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was in a great location to the downtown. I want to go back and visit, and stay more than one night! Highly recommended

We spent the night at the Alpine while in town for appointments. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Even though it's an older motel, the room was updated, clean, and fresh. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. Our room had a kitchenette that came with everything we needed. The only extra that would have been nice would be to have some paper towel or napkins in the kitchen.

5 star because of how well the room met our needs (dog friendly). Staff were very welcoming. It was nice to have beds in separate rooms. Kitchen was nice and even had good lighting. Rooms were surprisingly quiet for a motel. Had a/c in main room only. Beds were so comfy and pillows and towels were great. Good kitchen and utensils. Only suggestions: in a hotel/motel, I prefer a dish cloth and towel that can be washed after every guest instead of a brush that who knows where it has been. It would have been nice to have some tea bags and a box of Kleenex.

Excellent place to stay! Customer service was amazing, first rate! Newly renovated and remodeled, housekeeping was excellent and had the amenities one would typically expect. Kitchenette, mini fridge, AC, and more.

What a little gem. Only stayed for one night. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and got in touch immediately after they discovered I had left something in my room. The beds were comfortable and the room extremely clean.

Our first night was rather dreary, but once we changed rooms it was ☆AMAZING☆ Be careful booking online through 3rd party sites. Our original room was literally just a toilet, tub, bed, tiny tv, queen mattress, window right next to cars & stairs & highway. The bed was almost directly against the bathroom door. The interior of the bathroom door was quite dirty & obviously hadn't been washed in some time. Good for one person only, especially if missing A/C, noise & cramped room are ok. Price was good but very cramped. We then moved to the 'Jacuzzi Room' I'm not into people soup, so we didn't use it. If you're disabled or mobility is an issue this suite isn't for you. It was difficult for me to get into & out from the Jacuzzi for showering. The king bed, sheets & pillows were amazing. They came in to make the bed, take our dishes which was surprising but ok. We moved the long table from the door to the sofa so we could eat together. It's got a microwave, dishes, decent tv you can log into & stream from. The A/C was really good. We had 2 excellent sleeps in this room. It was off from the highway so less direct sun which helped. Much more room with sofa, tables, comfy chairs. I think I breakfast table instead would be more useful. The only issues we had was billing. I thought when we upgraded to a better room we'd just be charged the difference. We figured it out in the end, but it was inconvenient being a weekend waiting for everything to post. We've stayed here occasionally over the past 15-16 years and have always enjoyed it. It's good, clean, dog friendly & convenient. Highly recommended! We'll book again!

I had a great experience here in Nelson at Alpine Inn. The receptionist for both night and day are both professional, friendly, and accommodating. At some point I had to cut my stay 2 days short due to needing to leave sooner than expected and the person at the front desk was really nice about it. They only charged me for the days I stayed and not for the cancelled days. They didn’t have to do that but they did and it’s greatly appreciated. I needed coins for the coin laundry and the night receptionist was really helpful and nice and changed a $20 bill for coins no problem. I was also upgraded a room free of charge too which was unexpected and also very nice of them. The motel is 20-30 min from white water ski resort. If you are planning to ski there at white water alpine inn is definitely worth considering. In this economy the price reflects the quality. I would stay here again if I was in Nelson again
